Important Release Notes
- Important IC 4.5 Upgrade Requirement: For customers upgrading from IC 4.5 to IC 5.5 refer to Technote 1978081 (Files and Wikis Script Updates for Upgrading from IC 4.5 to IC 5.5 ) for updating upgrade scripts for Wikis and Files. These are required script updates needed to successfully upgrade the Files and Wikis databases to the IC 5.5 level.
- IC 5.5 CR2 has required updates for IBM Community Surveys and the Ephox Edit Live! editor. See Section 4 – Software Requirements and Recommended Updates for details
- Review the System Requirements for IBM Connections 5.5 document for changes that be necessary for newer IBM Connections 5.5 fix levels.
- Refer to Technote 1981408 (General issue regarding IBM Cognos Wizard for IBM Connections 5.5) for general issues with working with Cognos and IC 5.5.
- Make sure to download the latest version of the installer for installing IBM Connection 5.5 interim fixes (iFixes). While IBM Connections CRs does not use the Update Installer but interim fixes for IC 5.5 require the Update Installer. The latest version can be downloaded here – Fix Central download link for the 5.5 Update installer (build 2016-06-28).
