With the introduction of Watson explorer 11.0.0.0, search and crawlers abilities have been extended and upgraded. I installed an Apache frontend/proxy in the DMZ and moved SSL to that proxy. Everything was up and running.
After installing 11.0.0.1 we discovered 2 things:
- We noticed that Admin’s Search Customizer and Analytics Customizer links resulted in an error,
https://localhost/ui/search/customizer not found.
The correct URL is https://watson.domain.com/ui/search/customizer - The miner couldn’t be connected anymore. See my blog: Miner Error
Error 2 could be fixed by altering the configuration, but there was no solution at all for 1.
Now with 11.0.0.3 this problem is finally fixed and we can use the proxy for accessing all features in the Watson admin interface.
