When moving away from a Microsoft desktop (https://www.angioni.nl/2025/11/07/moved-away-from-my-microsoft-desktop), the only application that needed a Windows desktop, was my HCL Notes/Admin/Designer.
After some digging and trying, I have now a stable running Notes/Admin using Wine on a Ubuntu v25 machine. YEAH !!! It’s still for the basic client only, but for me that’s not a problem for now.
HCL Designer is not running using the basic client. This one still needs the standard version of the client.
